The San Marco Aspide is one of Selle San Marco’s most
popular models. It is not hard to see why,the saddle is light, long, and stylishly
designed.
Where other saddles come with lots of softer padding, the
San Marco Aspide leans to toward less. To compensate for this, the padding is
firmer than made by other manufactures. This firmer padding may require an
initial break in period as your body adjusts, but once you do, many riders find
it more comfortable than their previous saddles with more padding.
This sleek and clean design is finished with a smooth cover,
allowing for good fore and aft movement.
Our experience is that it usually takes a 1-2 week period to
break in a saddle. Since all saddles are
slightly different, (this saddle in
particular often requires the full two weeks.), bring tools with you to allow
you to adjust its position until you find the perfect spot.
