Campagnolo's Chorus Pro-Fit Plus Pedals are designed to be lightweight, comfortable and give you maximum efficiency with every stroke.  When compared to other weight conscious pedals, Campagnolo doesn’t dial down the size in the process.  The foot platform is wider than most which spreads your power more evenly through the entire ball of your foot.  This provides significantly greater comfort with no hot spots, even on the super long rides.  Plus you gain a more efficient transmission of force which helps your performance.

The Chorus Pro-Fit Plus sports a wider platform without adding a lot of extra weight.  Many road pedals nowadays are evolving to this light weight but large platform combination, it definitely works.  Despite the wider platform, the overall pedal width is still compact enough to keep the pedals safe if you happen to go super deep into a turn.  No worry of scraping pavement with Campy’s Chorus Pro-Fit Plus Pedals!  And if you do, they’re Aluminum.

Another feature that ensures maximum comfort are the four, evenly distributed, contact points and the low profile design that brings your feet as close as possible to the axles to optimize each and every pedal stroke.

The three sealed bearings are superb on the Pro-Fit Plus.  There are two on the inside and one on the outside.   We found a tiny amount of pre-load, but overall they are baby's-butt smooth.  They may even out-class Look and Time in this regard.

Some of the reviewers we’ve read have had issues with entry and exit, but we firmly believe that if you take a moment to practice your entry and exit into these pedals, you will have no difficulty with the lock.  When you’ve been riding on different brands like Look or Shimano, the Campy’s are going to lock in a little different, although we did find them quite similar to the Look pedals we’ve been riding for years.  It’s really just a matter of becoming accustomed to the slide in.  Overall we noticed that the force required to get in is super low, and requires constant pressure.  As for the disengagement, the force is variable and can be adapted to your particular preference thanks to a handy adjustment screw that controls the spring tension.  Though, even when at ‘light’ on the release we found them to be firmer then their Shimano and Look counterparts.

Campagnolo uses a Look three bolt style cleat system with a slight tweak on the concept.  The cleat uses a plastic and metal piece at the rear of the cleat, to give you a wide durable platform that has six degrees of float.  Each part, plastic and metal, can be replaced separately.

Unexpected clip outs are absolutely unacceptable, especially in a race.  Absolutely no worries about the unexpected with these Campys!!!
