For women, the San Marco Aspide Glamour TX offers a more
female friendly design.
San Marco has done much research specifically researching
the needs of women. On the top of the Aspide Glamour TX saddle there is a
channel to help relieve pressure specific to the female anatomy. Under this
channel is a unique San Marco technology call ‘Core Zone’. Core Zone is
specific to the Glamour line and provides additional relief similar to having a
cutout but without out the risks of pinching. It further softens that specific
area making the saddle very comfortable.
At 155mm wide, it would be considered wide for a men’s
saddle, but with women generally having wider hips/sit bones it allows women
who find men’s saddles to narrow, to sit on something extremely comfortable.
The saddle is covered in a perforated lorica covering that
is quite durable and is matted to Titanox rails.
