2010 Selle San Marco Rolls Ti Saddle

The San Marco Rolls Titanium saddle is one of the best known racing saddles in the history of saddle making. It is a classic in the cycling industry. Unchanged for so many years it retains the look of yesteryears.  

The seat is super comfy and allows you to maintain excellent pedal stroke, high RPM spinning, and power climbing. The shape distributes the pressure uniformly, causing no numbness, chafing or saddle sores. The Rolls is definitely a firm saddle not a hard one, and the genuine leather seat is like riding in a Rolls Royce without the hefty price.

The San Marco Rolls Titanium is a nice, long saddle, measuring in at 278mm.  So, if you move around a lot, this is the saddle for you because it allows for many different positions.  We have found that due to the length, it’s a good idea to tilt the nose down slightly to keep the pressure off the sensitive areas.

As for you weight weenies, you may want to look elsewhere, the Rolls titanium is lighter than the standard Rolls, weighing in at 274 grams.  The amount of additional weight that the Rolls holds over its more modern day rivals more than compensates in the overall comfort level. Let’s face it, if you’re not comfortable, the ride sucks.
