Say hello to the Swiss Stop RX GHP brake pads, specifically intended for use in cross and MTB applications.
The GHP pads for aluminum and ceramic rims can resist temperatures in excess of 300 degrees Celsius and still maintain their performance. Paired with temperature resistant compound comes longevity, and these pads have them with better than standard rubber life.
SwissStop pads managed to pack even more into a tiny brake pad, allowing them to run quieter than regular rubber pads. This may have something to do with the fact that these pads do not collect aluminum thus increasing the life of the rim. But this compound also out performs every other pad on the market and has quickly become the must have pad.
