Sci-Con’s mid-sized bag is the Pro Carbon Compact 430. With almost twice the storage as the Sci-Con Pro Carbon Phantom 230, it still won’t rub against you as you ride. The Pro Carbon Compact 430 has a unique design that virtually disappears behind your saddle while still giving you plenty of room to pack in a tube, tire lever, patch kit, CO2 cartridge, the cell phone, some cash and your keys.

One of our favorite features of the Phantom 430 Pro Carbon is the super wide mouth. The extra large zipper opens a full 180 degrees to give easy access to the contents inside while leaving all your stuff securely tucked away in the generous bottom section so nothing will accidently fall out. Yeah, we’ve done that too, who hasn’t.

The minimalistic aerodynamic design is made of Carbon Fibre and Cordura Dupont fabric. Plus, should you need to remove the Sci-Con Phantom 430, just twist it off. The Sci-Con series has a roller system that attaches the saddle with a single bolt clamp so you can just twist it and roll, leaving the clamp on the bike to await your next adventure. The saddle clamp will work with all standard two rail saddles, except the Selle Italia Thoork and the Signo series. Their two rails join at the rear of the saddle.

One quick tip for installation, tighten it only until the mount is firmly in place, never over tighten, it is plastic so it will break if you really torque it. We learned that from experience.
