The Deda Elementi Forza stem is Italian industrial design at its best. Beautiful and functional. It’s a solid carbon stem with all the benefits and beauty you’d expect from an Italian crafted stem.
For 2009 Deda replaced the carbon face plate with an aluminum face plate increasing its strength. The stem has a 4 titanium clamp bolt system that evenly distributes stress and your weight over the bar and decreases slippage, as well as protects the bar from scarring.
The solid carbon stem is light. Not the lightest stem available but Deda wasn’t chasing weight with the Forza, but rather the best all around carbon stem on the market. A few extra grams over the Zero100 Servizio Corse you get a stiffer and more forgiving stem. The use of stress-directional carbon limits the transmission of road vibration from steerer tube to handlebar while remaining incredibly stiff for sprinting and climbing.
The Forza Carbon stem has a stack height of 40mm and Deda’s 82 degree angle. Intended for 1 1/8” steerer tubes and bars 31.7 or 31.8mm.
