The Miche SWR Carbon wheel is the clincher version of the Miche SWR Full Carbon wheelset.
With a carbon deep dish rim and an aluminum braking surface they cut through the air like a hot knife through butter. The front rim is 38mm deep and the rear 50mm. In a strong cross wind this keeps the front stable with excellent aero dynamics for head winds.
Miche mates the SWR Full Carbon rim to their lightweight CNC 7075 Aluminum hub using flat (slightly aero) stainless steel spokes. The 7075 Alu hub uses high quality bearings for a smoother ride.
The Miche SWR Carbon wheels have a total weight of 1750 grams with the front weighing 770g and the rear 980g. Not intended to be the lightest wheels available Miche set to find that happy medium between weight, performance and price.
Dispite the aero rims the SWR Carbon wheels spin easily and stop quickly. The use of Swiss Stop Green brake pads will dramatically improve your braking performance.
The Miche SWR Carbon wheel is available in 700cc clincher only.
