We love hand crafted products. The Miche Race a step down in price from the Miche Axy Connect. The two major differences are in the rims and spokes.

The Miche Race rim is 25mm deep providing a slight aero benefit without the wind drag of a standard box section rim. Notably the rim is slightly heavier then the Axy Connect resulting in it spinning up out of corners a little slower.

The Race rim is matted to their lightweight CNC 7075 Aluminum hub using standard black stainless steel spokes. The front rim gets a standard 20 radial spokes - fairly standard. The rear gets a 28 paired spoke lace up, the same concept Rolf developed in the 90’s. This design was so effective Bontrager bought Rolf when they wanted to develop light weight racing wheels. The paired spoke technology allows the wheel to be exceptionally strong with a drop spoke count.

The increase in rim material and the addition of more spokes make this a very durable wheel.
