Those Germans sure know what they’re doing when it comes to engineering.  No Joke.  And Sigma is the leader of the pack when it comes to innovative design and precision engineering on their on board computer systems.

Boasting a huge screen and easy push buttons, the Sigma BC 1106 DTS Wireless is worthy of consideration if you are in the computer buying market.  The DTS system guarantees 100% digitally coded data security so there will be no bleed over to other computers on the road.  No cross talk means less confusion.  Less confusion is good.

The BC 1106 DTS Wireless comes with, average speed, actual speed and a comparison of actual and average.  Plus the BC 1106 DTS give you max speed, so you can see how fast you are.  There’s trip distance and total distance of bikes one and two, if you choose to use the optional 2nd bike sensor.   And no wires to contend with.  We liked the wireless aspect.  Keeps it clean!  The language function has 7 different languages and there’s a low battery indicator that will allow you to replace the battery BEFORE it dies on a ride.

The mount is very stable and comes with a tie wrap sensor mount and adjustable sensor spacing.  Now, they claim that interference from the cell phone isn’t an issue, but we found that ours still did cause some interference on occasion.  So, if you find it is causing a problem, just turn off the cell phone and ride.  You shouldn’t be on it anyway!

Installation is quick and easy, shouldn’t take you more than 15-20 minutes and you’re on the road.  Get a second sensor and you can switch between bikes with ease.  All around, it’s a great little computer that is durable and does the job well.
