Sure, it looks like most other magnetic trainers but once you try it you will realize the Tacx flow is a complete ergotrainer. Offering heart rate and pedaling frequency as well as current, average, and max for speed and power. All 18 data sets are continuously being measured on a slimline handlebar mounted computer display.

The beauty of the Tacx Flow is that you can train off of power and not just heart rate. Training on power is becoming increasingly important because it gives you, well, more relevant feedback on your fitness. It also allows you to go from 10 to 990 watts of resistance which allows for a wider range of training.

Assembly is simple and there’s a handy calibration function that you can use to calibrate the brake in a matter of seconds. The Flow also includes a Skyliner front wheel support which helps correct the position of the bike to ensure your natural cycling posture is preserved.
