Tacx is an industry leader in trainers, providing products that are well built and full of great features. Take the Satori model for example. The Tacx Satori is an indoor trainer that provides near road-like resistance. The resistance is adjustable up to the higher levels so you can train as hard indoors as you ride outdoors. Plus, the Tacx Satori has a soft gel roller with a stainless steel running surface which is sound-deadening and wear-resistant. In other words, it’s quiet so you won’t disturb your neighbors, or your sleeping spouse.

The frame is absolutely solid, so it will stand its ground almost anywhere and can withstand whatever you can dish out. A friend of ours actually dropped his down a flight of stairs and it is still working perfect. Please, do not try that at home.

The resistance, aka braking system, is outfitted with two discs housing six super powerful Neodymium magnets in each one. They also have an extra large steel flywheel for the most road-like acceleration/deceleration and a handlebar mounted shift lever that will change the position of those Neodymium magnets. In terms of braking action, the Neodynium magnetic system goes above and beyond any of the competition.

The frame is collapsible so it’s easy to store and the front wheel support doubles as a carrying handle so it’s easy to transport as well, and, Tacx provides a skewer for your rear wheel.

The Tacx Satori is an unbelievably powerful trainer with the ability to give you instant 400 watt resistance in the lower RPMs. This is indeed one of the best entry level competitive trainers on the market.
