New for 2010 SwissStop Full FlashPro Yellow King brake pads! An all new design for Shimano 9/10, the SRAM Rival/Force/Red FlashPro pads combine the popular Yellow King compound (carbon specific) with an all new and improved asymmetrical groove design found before only in the RacePro versions.

SwissStop’s analysis determined there was no better compound then the Yellow King, however the groves and amount of pad needed improvements, so they went to work. The Full FlashPro Yellow Kings are what they came up with and we have to say, Bravo SwissStop! These brake pads are the best we’ve seen. You will see drastic improvements in wet weather stopping power because the asymmetrical groove design significantly improves the water removal from the braking surface. The new enhancements also increase the life of the pads and because there are absolutely no abrasive materials, there will be no damage to your rims.

Another great addition to the Full FlashPro Yellow Kings is the pad TRP holder. The TRP holder is a full four grams lighter than the Shimano holder (a 30% weight savings) and two grams lighter than the campy holder (a 20% weight savings).

The icing on the cake is that not only is the performance improved but the Yellow King compound allows for easy swapping between your aluminum and carbon wheels without the need to file off a layer of brake surface – as is normally required to clean the pads. How is this possible? Simply, the Yellow King is such a great compound that it does not collect aluminum and only requires a quick wipe with a rag when changing between aluminum and carbon brake surfaces. Oh, and another little improvement, these Full FlashPro Yellow King pads allow you to brake harder with little to no delay.
