The HSD stands for Handlebar Stability Design and Look is serious about that acronym. The Look HSD Carbon stem is one of the most torsionally rigid handlebar stems on the market, it screams stability. The HSD Stem excels at sprinting and out-of-saddle climbing as this stem is so wonderfully rigid. Add the sleek look to the serious strength and you’ve got a full carbon stem that will rock your rocket.

The enlarged contact area at the handlebar/stem link is a new, improved and exclusive design to give you maximum stability and increased handlebar control. Single block carbon technology is what gives this stem its incredible rigidity while still keeping the Look HSD lightweight at only 150 grams for this 110mm stem.

Let’s talk about stiffness for a moment, shall we? The full carbon construction gives it obvious rigidity while reducing the road vibe, but the special shape of the new HSD is what provides the impressive stiffness and resists twisting even under a power house rider. Yes, it is a pretty large stem as stems go, but Look kept it light and the size does help the stiffness and stability to the front end.

Despite the size, the HSD looks sleek and fast with all square angles. The bar clamp is oversized at 31.8mm to provide additional strength to an already superior stem. The stem angle is 8 degrees.
