Many seatposts are made with aluminum caps bonded to carbon-fiber tubes, the ITM Pathom Monocoque Seatpost is constructed with full carbon using a monocoque method. For those of you who don’t use the word “monocoque” in daily language, it means the ITM Pathom Monocoque is constructed using a technique that supports structural load by using the object's external skin as opposed to using the internal frame or truss that is then covered with a non-load-bearing skin. Monocoque construction was initially used in aircraft in the 1930’s and makes superior bike parts. This monocoqued method makes the Pathom Monocoque lighter, more elegant and significantly more refined than other posts on the market today.

The Pathom MonoGOque allows for front and rear set screws for easy, breezy adjustability down to the micro adjustment. This is very cool, especially if you are really super picky about your positioning.
In addition to the superior monocoque construction, the ITM Pathom Monocoque seat post is constructed using EPS technology so there will be no material left in the post. As a quick review, EPS technology is twice baked. The first baking processed cures the carbon and the second removes the modeling agents from the bars so there will be no plastic bladders or other materials left inside. It also allows ITM to produce the equivalent of a double or triple butted bar in a steady transition, aka: differentiated thickness. It means that ITM is able to make the bar thicker where it needs it and thinner where it doesn’t.

The ITM Pathom Monocoque seatpost is 350mm long with a 16mm setback. It weighs in at 210 grams. This has a two screw seat clamp. Only in 31.6
