The Vittoria Corsa CR tubulars are a great improvement over the entry level Vittoria Rally tubular. The puncture resistance has gone above and beyond the Rally with a new puncture resistant belt. Constructed with 220 wonderful threads per inch, these tires give you the smooth, supple feel of the road that you long for. The addition of a 3D casing compound improves cornering and reduces the rolling resistance making the Corsa CR tubular an all around pleasure to ride. We don’t recommend it for racing though; there are better riding tubulars for that. Such as the Veloflex Carbon Tubular or the Vittoria Corsa Evo CX Tubular.

These are great tires for training though, that’s for sure. One of the guys here in the office has over 600 miles on his pair and so far there is only a slight show of wear on the tread ridges and some minor nicks in the tread in the front. And only a small amount of additional wear on the back tire. But we had to look at it with a magnifying glass to even see these minor infractions so that says a lot for the Corsa CR.

The Vittoria Corsa CR is a 700 x 22mm wide 285grams tubular tire that has a butyl inner tube with a 50mm long valve stem and a removable core. The inflation rate has improved to a whopping 175psi max inflation which is a great improvement over the 130psi found on the Rally.
