Designed for Time Trials and Triathalons in mind, the San Marco Ponza TT has an extra padded nose for tri-comfort. As with all TT and Triatha-long specific saddles the nose is specifically designed so you can spend long periods of time hammering away on it. The extra padding is there to help “the boys”, endure the torture.

The ample amounts of biofoam padding in the nose make the San Marco Ponza TT comfortable enough for even ironman distance riding. We like the biofoam padding because it keeps the saddle lightweight while still offering a cushy perch. Not that it is mushy or too soft, the San Marco Ponza TT is actually pretty firm. The best thing about biofoam padding is that it molds to the shape of your butt. So over time, you wear the saddle in so it fits you perfectly.

The Microfeel cover is made of a breathable and hard wearing synthetic fabric that is 5% lighter than leather. It also doesn’t deform like leather can. The Titanox rails offer low weight with exceptional strength and durability. In fact, Titanox ensures the highest standards in terms of strength and rigidity.

Weighing in at 216 grams, it’s not the lightest saddle you can get, but its still keeping within the lightweight range. The length is 277mm and the width is 130mm, match that up against your Cheek to Cheek results to see if the Ponza TT is right for your sit bones.
