The Campagnolo Veloce 10sp Chain is quiet and its smooth shifting is a welcomed surprise in Campy’s lower end group. That’s to be expected due to the Ultra Drive system that reduces interference with the adjacent sprockets and chainrings. This advanced system offers a smoother transition and easier adjustment of the rear derailleur.

The Veloce 10 speed Ultra Narrow chain is much lighter and quieter than its predecessors, borrowing technology previously found on Record 10. This is due to Campagnolo’s dedication to excellence. Campy prides itself in testing, testing, and retesting all the Campy components to ensure the highest quality. Evidently their laboratory tests have shown that the Campy Veloce 10sp chain is highly resistant to traction, wear and tear, elongation, torsion, and flexion just as is to be expected with any of the fine Campagnolo brand products.

The width on the Veloce 10sp chain is 5.9mm so it requires the use of a HD-Link for Ultra Narrow chains. It has a Ni-PTFE Finish with 114 links.

Mental note: It’s a good idea to measure your chain for stretch every 1500-2000 miles. If you catch it early it can save your cassette and chain rings.
