For ample shell length and a nice wide padded nose, we offer you the Selle Italia NT1 saddle. The NT1 was designed specifically with Triathletes, time trial lovers, off road enthusiasts and all others who tend to ride on the nose of the saddle to increase performance.

This is not a super light, it weighs in at 295 grams. When it comes down to it, on a Triathlon bike, weight is a factor but not the focus. Being comfortable for the Ironman distance is far more important. And this saddle definitely delivers comfort. Now, if you are still looking to save weight without sacrificing too much comfort, you can try the SLR T1. It’s relatively the same as the NT1, just lighter (only 205 grams) with Lorica instead of Nylon.

As tri-saddles go, the Selle Italia NT1 offers greater freedom of movement. They’ve offered 30% extra nose padding as well as a gel insert for the saddle nose for a higher level of comfort for triathlon and time trial enthusiasts. The covering is made from synthetic leather so it is 100% waterproof, high in elasticity as well as super soft. The gel pads are made of silicone with differentiated thickness so it fits your body just like you like it. And the shell is made from Selle Italia’s Nylon N6. We’re not sure what that means, but we do know this is a comfortable saddle so we just accept it as fancier than regular nylon.

The length is 280, the width is 138 and the rails are made of a high strength alloy. The Selle Italia NT1 is specifically designed for Triathletes, time trial and off road enthusiasts who tend to ride closer to the nose of the saddle.
