Built much like the Vittoria Pavé EVO CG tubular, these clinchers are nothing to mess with when it comes to rough road conditions. They are the leading tire in the toughest races like the Paris-Roubaix with its weird weather and crazy cobblestones where most would say you were crazy to even attempt a clincher. Typically we’d agree and we do still recommend the tubular version of the Vittoria Pavé EVO CG, but if you are a clincher fan, there is no better tire on the market than the Vittoria Open Pavé Evo CG.
What makes them so remarkable? Each of these tires are made with Corespun K 320 TPI casing and a blend of Polycotton and Kevlar threads. The Kevlar 3D compound with added silca tread offers inner tube protection with a PRB puncture resistance belt. The Vittoria Pavé EVO CG clinchers only come in 700x24’s. They need that extra road connection to perform. The 24c will fit on any bike without having to worry about rubbing on brake calipers, forks, stays and otherwise in the way items.
