The Hutchinson Fusion 2 Tire might very well be the first tire to be considered “bullet-proof”. Made with Kevlar Pro Tech which was originally the replacement for steel in racing tires and is commonly used in bullet proof jackets and body armor. Yeah, it’s that strong and it has to be.

The Fusion 2 tubeless model which the Fusion 2 is based off of is designed to hold the rim without a tube. Though the Fusion 2 requires a tube it retains the strength and durability requirements of its tubeless counterpart.

The Hutchinson Fusion 2 is light enough for competitive riding, yet durable enough to train with. Still soft on the edges for incredible turning, the Fusion 2 Tires have the longest wearing tread in the center so they won’t be breaking down anytime soon. Hutchinson uses a triple compound to enhance acceleration around the corners and to give extra grip for lateral traction.

Overall, the Hutchinson Fusion 2 Tire provides a supple ride (thanks to the 127 TPI casing) with super “grippiness” for cornering in wet and dry conditions.
