Rollers are the holy grail of training. Not only do they get your heart pumping but they combine two things you cannot do on a standard trainer. One, work on smoothing your pedal stroke, and two, learn to ride straight indoors.

The second is often why people don’t use rollers. In a moment you can be riding upright and next on the floor in pain. The Elite Parabolic rollers work to reduce this risk of falling by making it very difficult to run off the edge of the drum. The drums have lips that provide feedback to let you know you’re getting towards the edge. It’s still possible to go over, but it now requires a great deal of effort.

Another complaint of ours has also been addressed. Typically rollers are loud. A combination of large hollow drums and a thin metal frame seem to reverberate the bearing noise. Elite tucks the bearings in a sealed cartridge. It works wonders and lives up to their claim of ‘silent’.
