The Selle Italia Flite is the saddle that set the bar for lightweight saddles, oh so long ago in 1990. Now that it’s growing up, they’ve updated the look of the Flite saddle with a bolder, more prominent logo and some catchy pin striping down the side of it full-grain leather cover. They’ve also added a upward curve at the rear of the saddle to increase support for the rider as well as softer edges that curve down around the sides for added comfort. And since the Selle Italia Flite has held its popularity for so long, the things we love the most about the Selle Italia Flite are holding true to the original.
The most notable aspect of the Flite is its feather light 10% carbon composite shell that keeps it slim and trim at 180g. The thin "self-modeling" padding keeps it comfortable for almost any rider, and the Flite still sports the Ti 316 rails which are made with a super-lightweight titanium alloy that is naturally shock absorbent to take in all the road rumbles.
The Selle Italia Flite is 130mm wide and 280mm long to give you some extra slide room if you’re a shifter while riding. Available in black only, but black goes with everything.
