The Sidi Genius 6.6 Carbon Lite is Sidi’s answer to the pursuit
of the perfect shoe. The Genius line has long been the most popular of their
road shoes, and 2007 saw the move towards all carbon soles. The Sidi
Genius 6.6 Carbon Lite is the next step in their line, with the use of all carbon.
The sole is stiff, as the sole becomes an
extension of the cleat, but not overly stiff; it's an amazing balance between
performance and comfort. The Sidi Genius 6.6 Carbon Lite heel security system
prevents unwanted heel movement and compliments the changes in the sole.
The uppers are soft and conform to your feet. With
two Velcro straps and one Ultra SL ratchet buckle, it is identical in
fit and comfort to the Ergo2. The only difference is use of a techno 2 buckle
on the Ergo2, which replaces a Velcro strap.
