The Fulcrum Racing 3 wheelset is Fulcrums mid-range model. It
shares the same technology as the Fulcrum line, but at a reduced price as it’s
slightly heavier and uses stainless steel spokes.
The first thing you notice when you hold these wheels is the
attention to detail and stunning appearance of the Racing 3. When you spin the
wheels you can feel Campagnolo’s famous bearings inside the oversized aluminum
hub. The wheels spin effortlessly on
silky smooth bearings.
On the road the stainless steel spokes serve the wheels
well. The Racing 3’s have slightly more weight so they don’t feel as snappy and
light as the Racing 1’s. Never the less, they hold a tight line into the
sharpest of turns. The 2:1 patented
spoke technology allows the stainless steel spokes to hold the wheel remarkably
stiff for regular spokes.
At high speeds you’re truly going to notice the attention to
detail on the Fulcrum Racing 3’s. Fulcrum’s Dynamic Balance shines as these
wheels track true at speeds in excess of 40 mph. A testament to Fulcrum’s
efforts to counter act the weight difference often seen in regular aluminum
wheels caused by the weld.
Every part on these wheels is replaceable and the
craftsmanship is outstanding.
Technology

balances drive and non-drive sides, and increases fatigue life of rim and
spokes
- Dynamic Balance – balances the rim so joint does not
cause high-speed hopping
- MoMag – no holes on inner side of rim, though regular
nipples are used for ease of tension adjustment. No special tool required

one rear wheel along with their related goodies. We do not sell these as
singles. Also make note of your cassette. Shimano 10 hub bodies are not
compatible with SRAM cassettes or Shimano 9 speed cassettes.
