2009 Continental Grand Prix 4000 SR Tubular Tire

The Continental Grand Prix 4000 Tubular is their popular Grand Prix 4000S tire made into a tubular. It has all the same characteristics with the added benefit of being a tubular.  For all the die hard tubular riders out there, ‘nothing rides better then a tubular’.

The Grand Prix 4000 tubular is composed of a black chili compound packed with small carbon particles. Each square inch of tire is crammed with these tiny particles that conform to the road and are key to the tubular’s improved tread life, grip and rolling resistance.

The Continental GP4000 tubular has the Vectran found in the GP4000  that helps ward off punctures. The anti-cracking formula helps prolong the tire’s life by reducing tire cracking from UV exposure.
