Hutchinson takes tire making to a new level with their Fusion Long Distance, using an exclusive four extrusion process. This new process developed by Hutchinsion allows them to make their Hutchinson Fusion Long Distance tire grippy and durable, by producing a tire with different compounds in different parts of the tire, unlike any other manufacture. This is done by mixing tough rubber compounds with grippe rubber for cornering.
Adding to the durability is the use of a puncture resistant aramid layer behind the tread, providing you with the ultimate durability. It still cannot stop a nail, but we are thinking that enhancement maybe just around the corner.
