2009 Sidi Genius 6.6 Carbon Shoe

The Sidi Genius 6.6 Carbon is Sidi’s answer to the pursuit of the perfect shoe. The Genius line has long been the most popular of their road shoes, and 2007 saw the move towards all carbon soles. The Sidi Genius 6.6 Carbon is the next step in their line, with the use of all carbon.

The sole is stiff, as the sole becomes an extension of the cleat, but not overly stiff; it's an amazing balance between performance and comfort. The Sidi Genius 6.6 Carbon heel security system prevents unwanted heel movement and compliments the changes in the sole.

The uppers are soft and conform to your feet. With two Velcro straps and one Ultra SL ratchet buckle, it is identical in fit and comfort to the Ergo2. The only difference is use of a techno 2 buckle on the Ergo2, which replaces a Velcro strap.
